Aromas of fresh raspberry, wild rose, and coastal cedar are followed by flavors of black plum, cola, and baking spice. On the palate, the 2018 vintage presents RICH concentration and firm acidity. This is a wine that can actually stand up to more robust fare including coffee-crusted filet mignon, Moroccan-spiced lamb or herbed roasted almonds. Aged cheeses are a spectacular match, especially with dried berries alongside.
