This is a single/rare cask Glenglassaugh Highland single malt, distilled 1 March 2011 and bottled in 2021 after 10 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt (Cask No. 4789). It was exclusively selected and bottled for Mash&Grape and signed off by Glenglassaugh Master Blender Rachel Barrie. Bottled at a strong 56.0% ABV (112 proof), it’s a full, syrupy sherry style: dried fruits, toffee, chocolate and coastal Highland malt underneath.
